Abiba Longwe

Abiba Longwe is a Ph.D. student in economics at Radboud University Nijmegen, and a participant in PRB’s 2013-2014 Policy Communication Fellows Program, funded by USAID through the IDEA project. Her research investigates the relationship between investments made in sexual reproductive health and poverty reduction in rural communities of sub-Saharan Africa. She has contributed to the NWO/WOTRO PopDev project on the impact of reproductive health services in sub-Saharan Africa (2008-2012), working closely with Jerome Smits. In this video interview, she shares her research and some of the findings to-date.
